Depending on the system, Apollo can provide current product information, dimensions, options, drawings, controlled technical documents, specification guidance, samples or finish pathways and structured project review.

Does Apollo replace the architect or engineer?

No. Apollo supports product selection and supply. Project-specific design, structural engineering, Building Code or destination compliance, approvals and construction documentation remain with the appointed professionals.

Can Apollo review drawings or BIM/CAD requirements?

Yes. Project files can be uploaded for product-pathway and interface review. Where current controlled CAD or BIM files exist for the selected system, they can be routed through the technical process.

Can Apollo help before a product is fully specified?

Yes. Early project review can start from design intent, dimensions, use, exposure, performance requirements and drawings. Apollo can then narrow the relevant product pathway and identify which product-specific decisions should be resolved before tender.

How are substitutions handled?

Apollo's specification pathway separates the named or selected system from project-dependent requirements. If a substitution is proposed, geometry, finish, interfaces, technical evidence and other required performance information should be rechecked against the project rather than assuming equivalence from a generic description.

Can architects request samples or finish review?

For product families where samples or controlled finish options are available, architects can submit the product family, finish requirement, location and project information for review. Availability, lead time and exact sample format depend on the selected system.

Can Apollo support international specifications?

Yes. The global pathway can support project-supply review across multiple destinations, but local code, certification, engineering and approval requirements remain project-specific and must be coordinated with the appointed local consultants.

Is there a New Zealand-specific specifier pathway?

Yes. The New Zealand sector owner focuses on local consultant, Building Code, consent and evidence interfaces while the global page remains the broader technical/specification owner.
