Accessories & Transitions

Accessory and interface planning for HLJÓÐ temporary event flooring systems.

Accessory architecture

The perimeter and service interfaces matter as much as the field area.

The catalogue documents several edge, bottom-plate and cable-routing features. The public range treats these as project components rather than assuming one accessory set fits every deck.

Perimeter Edges

Edge and transition pieces are shown across several product families. Final edge geometry must match the selected deck version and the surrounding finished level.

Access Ramps

Ramp planning should be coordinated with pedestrian, trolley, wheelchair, vehicle and emergency-access requirements. Exact ramp components are confirmed against the selected system.

Cable Pathways

P2 shows an underside cable-routing feature. H4 shows a dedicated cable-channel configuration. Cable quantity, diameter, bend radius and crossing locations remain project inputs.

Bottom / Support Plates

Dedicated bottom/support plate accessories are shown for H1, H4 and H5 pathways. Their use depends on the exact deck build-up and substrate.

Drainage Interfaces

Ventilation and drainage openings are shown on P2 and H5, with water-return/drainage concepts shown for T1. Field drainage must still be coordinated at project level.

Locking + Transitions

The range uses different connection methods, including interlocking edges, rolling connections and a rotary-knob system. Mixed-system interfaces should not be assumed without confirmation.

Documented accessory data

Keep exact dimensions tied to the right platform.

The current source provides selected accessory dimensions, but not a complete universal accessory schedule for all eight systems.

Project confirmation

Keep the documented product separate from the final temporary works design.

  • Do not assume accessories are interchangeable between deck families.
  • Ramp slope, accessibility and emergency-access requirements are project-specific.
  • Cable-channel capacity and bend-radius suitability require the actual cable schedule.
  • Final edge, lock and bottom-plate configuration is confirmed against the selected system.

Move into the project brief

Capture these conditions before the quotation stage.

The dedicated brief keeps surface, duration, traffic, vehicles, cables, transitions, destination and project responsibilities together.
