The aim is not to merge the two disciplines. It is to expose the interfaces early enough that the lighting designer, AV team, engineer, electrician and installer are working from the same physical layout.
Coordinate luminaire aiming and screen brightness so neither system creates an avoidable player-vision conflict.
Camera positions, sports-lighting direction and LED refresh / scan settings need a combined production review.
Check pole / mast / screen-support footprints, foundations, access and structural clearances before civil works.
