DORVARN · Access Control · Multi-Door Management

A scalable access-control pathway from two controlled doors to larger multi-entry sites.

The current controller platform supports two Wiegand-controlled doors as a base configuration and can expand through a master/slave architecture for larger projects, with Ethernet or 4G connectivity available where remote management is required.

Project priorities

Scale access control around the site, not around isolated doors.

01

Door count + topology

Map all controlled entries, gates, barriers and pedestrian points before the controller architecture is fixed.

02

Permissions + schedules

Define permanent, timed, visitor and exception-day access so the system logic matches the way the site operates.

03

Local versus connected management

Decide whether administrators require local-only control, Ethernet connectivity, 4G remote access or a mixed architecture.

How Apollo fits

Build the permission model first, then scale the hardware.

The current catalogue documents a two-door controller that can expand to 16 controlled doors and supports up to 10,000 credentials. Final system capacity, licensing and connectivity are confirmed per project.

01

Map entries + users

Document controlled doors, user groups, peak access and temporary visitor requirements.

02

Set controller architecture

Choose the base and expansion layout, reader interfaces and communications pathway.

03

Commission + govern

Set permissions, anti-passback or occupancy logic where required, administrator roles and ongoing credential-management procedures.

Relevant Apollo systems

Products can be selected individually or combined around the project.
