DORVARN · Access Control · Readers & Credentials

RFID, QR, NFC, keypad and biometric reader pathways for managed access.

DORVARN Readers & Credentials brings the current access-reader families into one project pathway so the credential format, user experience and controller architecture are selected together rather than as isolated hardware.

Project priorities

Choose the credential around the user and operating model.

01

Credential type

Select card, tag, QR, PIN, mobile or compatible biometric access around the people using the system and the required issue/revoke workflow.

02

Reader environment

Check indoor/outdoor position, weather exposure, mounting, vandal resistance, accessibility and expected traffic before the reader is selected.

03

Controller compatibility

Reader protocol, credential capacity and remote-management features must be confirmed against the selected controller architecture.

How Apollo fits

Treat the reader as the front end of a wider access system.

Credential capacity, reader protocol, weather rating, cybersecurity, privacy obligations and connected-service requirements remain dependent on the selected hardware and destination.

01

Map user groups

Define residents, staff, visitors, contractors, deliveries and temporary users.

02

Choose credentials + readers

Match credential format and reader type to the user journey and access policy.

03

Integrate + commission

Connect the reader to the controller, set permissions and validate emergency, privacy and operating requirements.

Relevant Apollo systems

Products can be selected individually or combined around the project.
