ARCHITECT + SPECIFIER · INDOOR SPORTS COORDINATION

LUTHVAR COMPLETE · CONSULTANT COORDINATION

Freeze the sports interfaces before the floor, structure and services make the decisions for you.

This centre consolidates the information architects, structural engineers, services consultants, floor specialists and venue operators need to coordinate indoor sports equipment across Basketball, Netball, Volleyball, Badminton, Futsal, Handball and Floorball. Exact loads, fixings and approval evidence follow the exact selected system—not a generic product family.

COORDINATION LAYERS

Eight consultant interfaces to freeze deliberately.

These layers are common across the indoor-sport programme, but the exact requirement changes by sport and selected equipment.

01

Floor + substrate

Architect · structural engineer · floor specialist

Coordinate floor build-up, slab / subfloor, sockets, sleeves, anchors, thresholds, equipment loads, rolling routes and finished-surface protection.

Exact product loads and fixing / sleeve information follow exact equipment selection.
02

Wall + roof reactions

Structural engineer · architect

Coordinate wall-mounted, roof-supported and suspended equipment with primary structure, secondary steel, deflection, access and future maintenance.

Reaction data is product-specific; no generic backstop or suspended-system load should be carried into structure design.
03

Overhead equipment + dividers

Architect · structural engineer · services engineer

Resolve retract paths and parked zones against dividers, lights, ducts, sprinklers, speakers, cable trays, scoreboards and other roof services.

Operating and parked envelopes should be frozen before overhead services are treated as final.
04

Wall / goal-end protection

Architect · venue operator · local contractor

Coordinate impact protection around walls, columns, doors, glazing, fixed services and goal-end zones without compromising access or other building requirements.

Protection type, fixing and material evidence remain exact-system and destination specific.
05

Storage + handling

Architect · venue operator

Size storage around the actual equipment set: backstops, posts, goals, rink boards, trolleys, nets, referee equipment, floor rolls and maintenance systems.

Door widths, turning zones, parking geometry and storage depth should be checked against the selected equipment.
06

Power + data

Electrical / ICT engineer · FÍSVOR

Coordinate power, data, controls, scorer positions, shot clocks, scoreboards, repeaters, displays and powered sport equipment before containment and outlets are finalised.

Connection loads, interfaces and protocols follow the exact selected equipment and control architecture.
07

Lighting + environment

Lighting / services engineer · architect

Coordinate fixture positions, glare, airflow, acoustics and visual backgrounds around the sport programme—especially badminton and event / broadcast use.

Photometrics, HVAC and acoustic design remain project-design responsibilities; Apollo supplies sport interface requirements where relevant.
08

Documentation + release

Project team · Apollo

Close exact product evidence, setting-out, interface drawings, local responsibilities, installation scope, testing, handover and operating documentation before procurement release.

No approval claim or building interface is released by product-family resemblance alone.

SPORT-BY-SPORT PRESSURE POINTS

The coordination problem is different for every sport.

Use this table to identify which drawings and consultants need to be involved before the exact equipment is released.

DRAWING SUBMISSION REGISTER

What to put on the coordination table.

Not every item is required at day one, but these are the documents that normally resolve the interface risks before order release.

01

Hall general arrangement

Architect

Court hierarchy, run-offs, spectator edges, team / officials zones, doors, fixed walls and equipment locations.

02

Floor / slab / subfloor build-up

Architect + structural engineer + floor specialist

Build-up, levels, movement joints, slab / subfloor zones and any restrictions on sockets, anchors or point loads.

03

Structural wall / roof information

Structural engineer

Primary / secondary structure available to receive wall-mounted, suspended or retractable equipment.

04

Reflected ceiling / roof-services plan

Architect + services engineers

Lights, ducts, sprinklers, speakers, cable trays, scoreboards, dividers and access zones.

05

Sports equipment setting-out plan

Apollo + project team

Exact selected equipment positions, operating envelopes, parking positions and interface zones.

06

Storage + movement plan

Architect + venue operator

Storage rooms, parking bays, handling routes, door widths, thresholds and equipment trolleys.

07

Power + data plan

Electrical / ICT engineer + FÍSVOR

Scorer positions, controls, displays, shot clocks, powered equipment, network / signal and isolation strategy.

08

Wall / protection elevations

Architect + Apollo

Protection extents, doors, glazing, columns, services, scoreboard / display conflicts and access.

09

Finish / sports-floor schedule

Architect + floor specialist

Surface family, markings, sockets / caps, protection requirements, cleaning and event-overlay assumptions.

RESPONSIBILITY MATRIX

Keep the product scope and project-design scope explicit.

The exact split is confirmed project by project. This matrix prevents product evidence from being mistaken for structural, electrical or local-code design.

SELECTED-SYSTEM RETURN PACK

What Apollo can return once the technical pathway is sufficiently defined.

The return pack grows in detail as the exact product is selected and verified technical evidence becomes available.

01

Selected equipment family and exact-system schedule

02

Product general-arrangement / setting-out information where available

03

Operating and parked envelopes for mobile / retractable equipment

04

Socket, sleeve, anchoring or mounting information for selected equipment

05

Exact-product loads / reactions where verified technical evidence is available

06

Power, control and data requirements for applicable equipment / FÍSVOR systems

07

Current product evidence and approval documents applicable to the quoted configuration

08

Storage / handling data where applicable

09

Installation, operation and maintenance documentation available for the selected system

PROJECT FREEZE SEQUENCE

Resolve the irreversible interfaces first.

Do not freeze a structure, floor or services layout around a product assumption that has not passed the exact-system evidence gate.

01

Sport hierarchy

Primary sports, secondary sports, competition level and simultaneous-use model.

02

Equipment pathway

Open each sport Technical Centre and choose the mounting / movement family.

03

Building interfaces

Coordinate floor, structure, overhead zones, protection, storage and circulation.

04

Services interfaces

Coordinate lighting, HVAC, power, data, displays and controls around sport operation.

05

Exact-product release

Match current evidence, loads, fixings, connection requirements and documentation to the exact system.

06

Project handover

Close supply, installation, testing, local responsibilities, O&M and venue operation.

NEXT STEP

Choose the sport pathway, then submit the coordinated hall brief.

The Equipment Technical Centre routes sport-specific decisions. The Complete Indoor Hall and Project Brief bring those decisions back into one coordinated project scope.
