LUTHVAR NETBALL · TECHNICAL CENTRE
One public technical workspace for indoor and outdoor posts, sleeves, rings, nets, padding, benches, officials systems, storage and FÍSVOR. Indoor sprung-floor and outdoor foundation interfaces are treated as mandatory project gates because the support condition changes the equipment pathway.
EQUIPMENT FAMILIES
The centre separates indoor and outdoor post systems before bringing rings, protection, benches, storage and match control into the same technical workflow.
Indoor post pathway coordinated with the ATHREN or existing floor, floor sleeve and subfloor / slab interface before the surface is completed.
Outdoor school, club and community pathway using ground sleeves, footings or fixed supports coordinated with the court base, drainage and surface.
Temporary or teaching pathway where permanent post interfaces are unsuitable and movement, stability and supervision need to be controlled.
Matched ring and net package tied to the selected post, height, projection, connection detail and replacement-parts pathway.
Protective system matched to the post profile, playing environment, attachment method and replacement / cleaning requirements.
Team benches, umpire and official positions, scorer table and courtside support equipment coordinated outside the active playing envelope.
Storage bays and handling routes for posts, pads, balls, benches and shared-hall equipment across school, club and arena modes.
Scoreboard, match control, scorer interface, repeaters and main displays coordinated separately from the physical post approval pathway.
TECHNICAL SELECTION MATRIX
The matrix separates school, club, competition and arena pathways while keeping exact post, ring and match-control evidence tied to the systems that will actually be supplied.
| Equipment family | Installation pathway | Movement / storage | Key interfaces | Evidence gate | School | Club | Competition | Arena |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 01Indoor sleeved / removable goalpost systemsLUTHVAR | Floor-sleeve pathway coordinated with the indoor sports-floor build-up | Posts remove after play; sleeves remain as permanent floor interfaces | Sleeve depth, subfloor / slab, sprung-floor detail, finished surface, cap detail, court geometry | Exact post, sleeve, ring and competition evidence matched to the selected system | Recommended | Core | Exact evidence | Exact evidence |
| 02Outdoor sleeved / fixed goalpost systemsLUTHVAR | Ground-sleeve, footing or fixed outdoor court pathway | Fixed or removable depending on selected post and shared-court strategy | Footing / sleeve, court base, drainage, surface finish, run-off, corrosion environment | Exact construction, foundation interface and use-level evidence confirmed by project | Core | Core | Project-specific | — |
| 03Portable / training post systemsLUTHVAR | Floor-standing pathway for training, teaching or temporary use | Move to dedicated parking / storage after use | Base footprint, stability, floor protection, run-off, handling route, supervision | Exact stability, operating method and use-level suitability confirmed by system | Option | Option | — | — |
| 04Rings + netsLUTHVAR | Matched to the selected goalpost configuration and intended level of play | Travels with removable posts or remains with fixed posts as appropriate | Ring connection, projection, height, post geometry, net attachment and replacement parts | Exact ring / net construction and approval status matched to the quoted equipment | Core | Core | Exact evidence | Exact evidence |
| 05Goalpost padding + player protectionLUTHVAR | Matched padding system around the selected post profile and operating environment | Removes or travels with the post depending on equipment type | Post profile, attachment, floor / surface clearance, cleaning, storage and replacement | Exact fit and material evidence checked against the supplied post and project requirements | Core | Core | Core | Core |
| 06Team benches + officials / scorer systemsLUTHVAR / HLJÓÐ / FÍSVOR | Courtside / arena support-zone pathway outside the active field-of-play envelope | Portable, retractable or fixed depending on venue operation | Bench zone, umpire positions, scorer table, sightlines, circulation, spectator edge | Event layout and exact equipment scope confirmed against the venue brief | Option | Recommended | Core | Core |
| 07Post + shared-equipment storage / changeoverLUTHVAR | Racks, storage bays and handling routes sized to real court count and shared-sport use | Posts, pads, balls, benches and shared equipment move along protected routes | Door widths, storage depth, finished-floor protection, divider zones, changeover time | Project handling plan rather than a competition approval claim | Recommended | Core | Recommended | Recommended |

EVIDENCE GATE
The public pathway narrows the technical family. Exact equipment is released only after the playing envelope, support condition, operating method and event evidence are matched to the real project.
Freeze court, surround, bench zone and spectator edge before locating equipment interfaces.
Confirm outdoor base / footing or indoor sprung-floor sleeve and subfloor detail before product release.
Confirm removable, fixed or portable posts, shared-sport use, movement route, storage and supervision.
Match posts, rings, padding, benches and scorer systems to the exact competition or venue pathway.
Close power/data, match control, installation scope, testing, documentation and destination requirements.
SUPPORT + VENUE INTERFACES
The post pathway changes with a sprung timber arena floor, resilient multi-sport floor, outdoor slab / base or shared school court. Those interfaces should be closed before exact equipment is released.
Coordinate sleeve depth, subfloor / slab support, floor movement, finished-surface tolerance and removable cap detail with the selected indoor floor system.
Coordinate footing or sleeve detail, court base, drainage, corrosion environment and finished-surface relationship before the post location is fixed.
Keep benches, officials and scorer systems coordinated beyond the active field-of-play envelope while preserving sightlines and circulation.
Where Netball shares with Basketball or other sports, define post removal, floor caps, equipment parking and protected storage before daily changeover is relied upon.
QUOTE-RELEASE CHECKLIST
Enough information is needed to avoid selecting a post system that conflicts with the floor, foundation, run-off, bench zone or shared-court operating model.
Project use level and intended competition / event pathway
Indoor or outdoor court and destination environment
Court plan showing surround, bench / officials zone and spectator edge
Indoor floor build-up / slab information or outdoor base / footing information
Sleeved, fixed, removable, portable or recommendation-required post pathway
Required ring, net and padding configuration
Team benches, officials / scorer and FÍSVOR requirements
Post / equipment storage location and shared-sport changeover needs
Programme, destination and installation responsibility
A professional-looking post, ring or padding system is not automatically suitable for a named World Netball event because another similar product is accepted. Exact current evidence is checked against the system that will actually be supplied.
NEXT STEP
The matrix narrows the equipment family. The Arena Brief adds court and surround, floor, post strategy, bench zone, FÍSVOR, spectators, storage and shared-sport use so Apollo can move into exact controlled selection.
