DORVARN · Modular Acoustic Barrier

Modular acoustic barrier panels for court boundaries, plant areas, equipment zones and temporary works.

The DORVARN Modular Acoustic Barrier is a hanging-panel noise-control pathway for projects that need a relocatable or project-configured acoustic boundary. Panels can be arranged along suitable supporting fences, frames or enclosure structures, with the final layout selected around the noise source, receiver and site geometry.

Current reference construction

A practical hanging-panel platform with configuration-specific acoustic performance.

The current reference platform uses a layered acoustic panel construction and joined-edge hanging installation. Published project values are kept configuration-specific rather than treated as a blanket performance claim.
01CoreAcoustic wool + sound-insulation felt

Current reference construction; final density and build-up are confirmed for the quoted configuration.

02FacingPVC canvas

Current reference outer facing for the modular barrier pathway.

03BackingFiberglass cloth

Current reference backing layer.

04InstallationEdge loops + joined panel edges

Panels are hung from a suitable support and joined to reduce open gaps; exact fixing is project-specific.

05Reference modulesApprox. 2.5 × 1.0 m · 2.0 × 1.0 m

Current reference sizes only. Custom panel sizing is subject to project confirmation.

06PerformanceConfiguration-specific

Acoustic ratings, fire classification and applicable test evidence are confirmed against the exact current panel before quotation.

The supporting fence, frame or enclosure is a separate structural interface. Wind loading, support capacity, edge fixing, access openings, drainage, ventilation and local installation requirements must be resolved for the site.

Project pathways

Use one modular product across several project types.

01

Court boundaries

Position barrier panels on noise-sensitive sides of pickleball, padel, tennis and recreation courts as part of a wider acoustic plan.

Explore pathway
02

Plant + generators

Create partial or full screening layouts around mechanical plant, generator areas and equipment compounds while preserving ventilation and service access.

03

Commercial boundaries

Use project-specific runs where service yards, loading activity or equipment interfaces sit close to sensitive neighbouring areas.

04

Temporary works

Relocatable hanging panels can support temporary construction, workshop and work-zone noise-control layouts where suitable support is available.

Project priorities

The panel is only one part of acoustic performance.

01

Close the acoustic path

Gaps beneath, above or between panels can materially reduce effectiveness, so continuity and edge treatment matter.

02

Keep the structure credible

The supporting fence or frame must be suitable for panel weight, wind exposure, fixing loads and the required installed height.

03

Match evidence to the order

Do not transfer acoustic, fire or environmental ratings from one panel build-up to another. Current documentation is checked against the exact supplied configuration.

How Apollo fits

From site problem to release-ready barrier layout.

Supply-only. Site acoustic assessment, structural support design, local installation, consent and verification of the completed site's noise outcome remain project-specific unless expressly included in the quoted scope.

01

Capture source + receiver

Identify equipment or activity, operating hours, boundary location and the spaces that need protection.

02

Set geometry + support

Define run length, installed height, returns, openings, support type, fixing method and any ventilation or access requirements.

03

Confirm exact panel

Lock construction, dimensions, colour, current test evidence, quantity, packing and destination requirements before supply.
