Not every exterior opening is a window or door.
Plant rooms, generator rooms, pump areas, mechanical spaces and utility buildings may need permanent airflow while still forming part of the external envelope.

Apollo supplies aluminium fixed and adjustable louvre pathways for buildings where ventilation or equipment screening remains necessary. Severe-weather suitability is kept distinct from ordinary architectural louvre performance.

Plant rooms, generator rooms, pump areas, mechanical spaces and utility buildings may need permanent airflow while still forming part of the external envelope.
The simplest suitable system is normally preferable. Adjustable or motorised blades can provide operational control where airflow or closure needs to change, but power-loss and equipment-ventilation requirements must be considered.
A louvre can be architectural, ventilating, rain-resistant or wind-resistant without having verified hurricane-impact performance. Apollo publishes severe-weather claims only where the exact configuration supports them.
Free area and pressure drop can matter on larger ventilation projects. Weather protection should not create an airflow problem for equipment behind the louvre.

General aluminium louvre capability is established, but specific hurricane-impact or design-pressure claims remain configuration-specific. Severe-weather numerical claims stay on HOLD unless supported by the exact louvre technical/test pack.
