DORVARN · Vehicle Detection

Detect approach, presence and passage without designing every site around a conventional buried loop.

DORVARN Vehicle Detection provides project pathways for wireless and conventional vehicle sensing, including applications where selected wireless configurations can reduce the need for conventional loop trenching and associated pavement work.

Project pathways

Wireless detection is the first product pathway to qualify in depth.

01

Wireless magnetic vehicle detection

Road sensor + multi-channel receiver architecture for approach, presence and direction logic without conventional communication cabling between sensor and receiver.

02

Conventional detection

Wired detection remains available where the civil works, control architecture or site standard makes it the better solution.

03

Safety integration

Vehicle detection is coordinated with independent safety devices rather than represented as a standalone safety system.

Project priorities

Detection starts with the control logic.

01

What must be detected?

Define approach, presence, vehicle direction, passage completion, safety occupancy or an access-trigger event before choosing the sensor.

02

Where can hardware live?

Review pavement type, trenching tolerance, drainage, power availability, radio conditions, heavy-vehicle exposure and maintenance access.

03

How should the gate react?

Coordinate each sensor output with the barrier, gate operator or controller so opening and closing behaviour matches the intended safety logic.

How Apollo fits

Treat detection as part of the access sequence.

Wireless range, battery life, ingress protection, supported vehicle loads and sensor capacity vary by selected configuration and are confirmed from current technical documentation before quotation.

01

Map the lane sequence

Document approach, authorised opening, crossing, exit and safe closing for each lane or access point.

02

Select sensing architecture

Use wireless or wired detection according to civil constraints, operating environment and the required control response.

03

Commission the logic locally

Final sensitivity, timing, outputs and fail-safe behaviour must be commissioned against the installed site and connected equipment.

Market pathways

Move between regions without losing the project context.

Choose the regional hub first, then the country where a dedicated pathway exists. Product suitability, documentation, freight and local project responsibilities are still confirmed against the actual site.
