View related pathwayWind pressure, debris, salt, UV, water and limited maintenance access can all affect an opening or exposed system. Product selection should account for operation and service years after installation, not only the day of the storm.
Entrances, garages, plant rooms, low service openings and drainage routes become particularly important where coastal water can reach the building. Flood protection should be coordinated with the wind-protection strategy.
Geotubes, geobags, erosion-control products and larger coastal works can become part of the wider Apollo range, but final application needs site-specific coastal, geotechnical and hydraulic input rather than generic product claims.
Repeated opening types, common fixings, selected spare components and clear maintenance records can reduce future service difficulty across resorts, island homes and remote commercial properties.

Map the hazard and building interfaces. Prioritise where failure has the greatest consequence. Verify the exact product evidence and local design requirements. Integrate structure, drainage, power, access and recovery. Maintain the system so the protection remains real rather than historical.

The planning framework helps identify what to protect and which questions to ask. Actual structural, flood, electrical, wildfire, drainage and product-performance decisions remain tied to current local requirements, exact supplier documentation and qualified professional input where required.
