Before a major event, normal storms can reveal where water crosses paving, where drains surcharge, where downpipes discharge, which low points pond and whether the property has a deliberate overflow route.
Swales, channels, tanks, pits and infiltration systems all have finite capacity. The resilient question is what happens when that capacity is exceeded and whether the next path takes water toward or away from vulnerable openings.
Grades, swales, rain gardens, permeable areas and planted depressions can slow, store or redirect suitable stormwater when they are designed around local soil, slope, discharge and maintenance requirements.
A barrier that successfully stops runoff at a garage can create a basin behind it if local rainfall has nowhere to drain. Apollo treats drainage, barriers, pumps and overflow as one sequence.
Storage volume, infiltration rate, discharge, structural loading and local stormwater compliance depend on the site. Apollo will publish exact product specifications only after each sourced system and its documentation are verified.
