ATHREN AX is the site-applied acrylic pathway within ATHREN COURT. It is distinct from ATHREN AC30 roll flooring: the AX systems are built up in place over a prepared asphalt substrate using sand-filled acrylic layers, resilient rubber-granule cushion coats and textured finish coats. A separate RM4 pathway uses a prefabricated 4 mm rubber sheet below the acrylic finish system. Base condition, drainage, crack treatment, movement joints and local installation quality remain critical to performance.

Before you specify
Three things to resolve.

Confirm the finished asphalt condition, flatness, drainage falls, ponding, cracking and movement joints before a coating system is selected.
- 02
Treat low areas, cracks and movement joints as separate preparation work; the playing-surface system should not be used to conceal a failed base.
- 03
Confirm the intended sport, line plan, colour schedule and required court-pace or competition evidence before ordering materials.
- 04
Apollo supplies the system; substrate repair, mixing, application, curing, line marking and local quality control are by the destination installer unless separately agreed.
- 05
For concrete projects, hold the final coating schedule until the approved primer, moisture, preparation and build-up requirements have been confirmed.

Bring the room, the activity and the floor together.
Send the floor area, destination, intended use, timing and a plan or photographs of the existing base.
Review the appropriate construction, physical sample, colour, texture and layout.
Agree seams, adhesive or fixing, edge transitions, local installation and any required performance documentation.
Confirm the manual quotation, supplied items, packing, freight and delivery arrangements.
