ORDRAN Technical Library · Lifting + Handling

ORDRAN Technical LibraryThis resource summarises current ORDRAN project-planning information. Final approved project drawings, equipment schedules and destination requirements control the supplied configuration.

Protect the pool structure by lifting from the intended structural load path.

Current framed-pool instructions require lifting forces to be carried by the steel frame. WPC cladding, viewing glass and the FRP liner are not lifting points.

Current technical guidance

Apply these requirements only to the pool construction or project condition they relate to. Final project drawings, local engineering and component documents govern.

01Load path
Steel support frameCurrent ORDRAN handling instruction for the framed WPC pool family.
02Lifting points
Two points per side · lugs pre-installedCurrent documented handling information. Final sling geometry, centre of gravity and crane plan remain shipment-specific.
03Do not lift from
WPC cladding · glass · FRP linerThese elements are not intended to carry sling forces.
04Project data still required
Dry weight · CoG · rigging geometryThese remain configuration-specific release documents.
05Receiving
Local crane / forklift planDestination contractor confirms plant, access, ground bearing and exclusion zones.

ORDRAN is supply-only. Local engineering, foundations, lifting, installation, utilities, barriers, approvals and commissioning remain destination project responsibilities unless expressly included.

Applications + project fit

How to use this information.

Lifting is a structural task

The handling plan must follow the pool's actual structural frame and approved production information.

Protect glazing

Viewing windows must be isolated from sling contact, impact and twisting during handling.

Protect finished surfaces

WPC, gel coat and exposed pool finishes require soft protection and controlled rigging.

Destination responsibility

ORDRAN is supply-only; crane selection, operator, lift planning and local safety controls remain with the destination project team.
