Apollo NZ GlobalStart AETREN Brief
AETRENCharging Infrastructure Systems

International commercial programme · Under qualification

Charging infrastructure built around the site, not just the charger.

AETREN is Apollo NZ Global’s project-led charging infrastructure brand for commercial developments, hospitality, sports and venues, infrastructure and fleet applications. Initial market development is focused outside New Zealand, with product release controlled by the certification and operating evidence available for each destination.

Application architecture

Five commercial pathways. One technical qualification process.

The charging system changes with dwell time, parking behaviour, power availability, operating model and destination. These pages structure the project before a model is selected.

Commercial developments & mixed-use

EV charging for workplaces, retail, apartments and mixed-use developments.

Plan charging around dwell time, tenant and visitor use, parking allocation, electrical capacity and future growth rather than treating every bay as the same charging requirement.

Open pathway
Hospitality & resorts

EV charging for hotels, resorts and destination properties.

Hospitality charging should fit guest dwell time, arrival patterns, parking operations and the wider destination experience, with AC destination charging and selected faster charging reviewed as different use cases.

Open pathway
Sports & venue projects

EV charging for sports centres, stadiums, clubs and recreation venues.

Sports and venue car parks can combine long event dwell times, staff use, club activity and peak arrival periods. The charging plan should match those operating patterns rather than copy a retail or roadside model.

Open pathway
Development & infrastructure

EV charging for larger developments and infrastructure-led projects.

For larger residential, institutional, modular, remote and infrastructure projects, charging needs to be coordinated with the wider power, civil, parking and development strategy from the beginning.

Open pathway
Fleet & commercial charging

EV charging for depots, service fleets and commercial vehicle operations.

Fleet charging is driven by duty cycle, return-to-base time, vehicle utilisation, energy availability and uptime. Charger count and power should follow the operating schedule rather than headline output alone.

AETREN system architecture

Six clear pathways from destination charging to site energy.

These are system families, not claims about released models. Specific power ratings and configurations remain provisional until the corresponding product evidence is approved for public release.

AETREN AC

Commercial and destination charging for workplaces, residential developments, hospitality, venues and longer-dwell fleet parking.

AETREN DC

Fast-charging pathways for shorter dwell times, operational fleets, public-facing sites and strategic charging hubs.

AETREN FLEET

Fleet and depot charging structured around duty cycle, vehicle utilisation, return-to-base windows and site power.

AETREN SITE

Multi-charger infrastructure where bay density, electrical capacity, access control and future expansion shape the project.

AETREN CONTROL

OCPP, communications, dynamic load management and site-control pathways where supported by the selected charger platform.

AETREN ENERGY

Reserved future pathway for project-specific charging, solar and battery integration once the underlying systems are fully qualified.

Technical release control

Certification is a routing input, not a footnote.

A charger can only move from programme development into a destination offer when the evidence supports the exact model and intended market.

01

Model-specific certification and issued evidence

02

Destination electrical and connector requirements

03

Ambient-temperature performance and thermal derating

04

OCPP / backend interoperability and site-management scope

05

Metering, RFID, payment and communications configuration

06

Warranty, support, spares and project documentation

AETREN project tools

Move from the site requirement into a controlled charging brief.

The tools keep the project at system-family level until evidence supports an exact charger model.

Apollo supply scope

Product + technical coordination + international supply.

Apollo can coordinate the charger product, approved configuration, project documentation and agreed freight or delivery pathway.

Apollo pathway

Product selection, configuration review, supplier evidence control, technical documentation, manual quotation and supply coordination.

Local project pathway

Electrical design, grid connection, civil works, protection, cabling, installation, commissioning, permits and local statutory approvals remain with the appointed project team unless expressly included in writing.

Developing an AETREN project?

Start with the site, users, parking pattern and destination.

We can qualify the AETREN system family first, then match an exact charger only when the technical and certification evidence supports it.
