Development & infrastructure · International programme

EV charging for larger developments and infrastructure-led projects.

For larger residential, institutional, modular, remote and infrastructure projects, charging needs to be coordinated with the wider power, civil, parking and development strategy from the beginning.

Supply-only project pathwayModel-specific certificationDestination review before release

Typical applications

Start with who parks here and how the site operates.

Large residential developments

Institutional projects

Masterplanned communities

Modular developments

Remote and specialist projects

Infrastructure-led sites

Charging pathways

Different dwell times create different charging requirements.

01

Development-wide AC

Repeatable charging across residential, workplace, community or institutional parking zones.

02

Hub / shared DC

Centralised faster charging where multiple users or operational zones share a higher-capacity charging point.

03

Energy-system interface

Project-specific review of charging alongside solar, battery or site-energy infrastructure without assuming an off-the-shelf integrated package.

Project brief

Information to establish before an exact charger is selected.

01

Development staging and future EV adoption

02

Grid connection and site power architecture

03

Civil works, ducting and future cable routes

04

Remote monitoring and maintainability

05

Climate, dust, heat, coastal and environmental exposure

06

Destination standards, certification and local authority requirements

Release gate

The exact product remains provisional until its evidence fits the destination.

Public-facing power, certification, environmental and integration claims are only released against the selected platform and supporting documentation.

  • Model-specific certification and issued evidence
  • Destination electrical and connector requirements
  • Ambient-temperature performance and thermal derating
  • OCPP / backend interoperability and site-management scope
  • Metering, RFID, payment and communications configuration
  • Warranty, support, spares and project documentation

Scope boundary

Apollo coordinates the supply package. The local project team owns the site works.

Electrical design, grid connection, civil works, protection, cabling, installation, commissioning, permits and statutory approvals remain local responsibilities unless expressly included in a written project scope.

Turn the operating requirement into an AETREN charging brief.
