INDIA / COMMON BUYER QUESTIONS

What project teams need to know.

Can an Indian distributor become an Apollo partner?

Apollo can review qualified distributor and project trade enquiries. Initial assessment considers territory, product scope, import capability, local technical capacity and proposed commercial terms; no exclusive status is implied.

Are you looking at Indian manufacturers as well?

Yes, for suitable selected categories. Factory qualification, product-specific evidence, quality controls, landed costs, export documentation and after-sales capability must be checked before any supply decision.

Does an NZ invoice make China-origin goods eligible for NZ–India FTA tariffs?

No. Preferential treatment follows the actual product's rules of origin, not the seller's address. Importers should check the relevant HS classification, origin documents and current treatment with a customs adviser.

Local engineering, foundations, installation, electrical work, customs clearance and statutory approvals are handled by appointed local parties unless a separately confirmed written scope states otherwise.
