A roof-only retrofit is an interface with the existing frame; structural suitability, fixing and drainage remain project-specific.

Blinds, glass or solid side enclosure can change wind behaviour. Declare future enclosure before the roof configuration is frozen.

Architectural outdoor blinds are not hurricane shutters, and a closed louvre roof should not be described as a sealed waterproof indoor room.
