Record Foundry · Packaging & Finishing

Turn a manufacturing run into an edition worth keeping.

Packaging is where physical music earns its place. Jackets, sleeves, inserts, booklets and finishing should feel coherent with the music and artwork — not like standard factory options selected at the end.

Physical music, properly managed

Format, manufacture, packaging and delivery in one production brief.

No public factory pricing and no anonymous catalogue hand-off. Every project is quoted against format, quantity, runtime, colour, packaging, finishing, current production capacity and destination.

01

Vinyl packaging

Build the sleeve architecture around the edition and how much editorial content it needs.

  • Standard jackets
  • Gatefold jackets
  • Printed inner sleeves
  • Inserts and booklets
02

CD & cassette

Keep visual continuity across formats while respecting the very different physical proportions of each package.

  • Digipaks
  • Card sleeves
  • Jewel-case print
  • J-cards and cassette cases
03

Premium finishing

Use finishing selectively to add tactility and hierarchy rather than decoration for its own sake.

  • Gold or silver foil pathways
  • Embossing
  • Spot UV
  • Serial numbering
04

Retail finishing

Assembly and protective finishing are confirmed as part of the production specification.

  • Assembly
  • Protective bags / wrapping
  • Barcode artwork placement
  • Carton and delivery planning

Production pathway

Design for the object, not just the screen.
