Corten product pathways

Use one material language across the whole outdoor project.

Apollo’s earlier Corten range covered landscaping, architectural structures and fire products. The new collection brings those pathways back together under one dedicated page, while individual fire products remain cross-linked through Fire & Cooking.

The material

A finish that changes as the steel weathers.

Corten is a weathering-steel family selected for its architectural appearance and ability to form a protective oxide patina in suitable environments. The surface is intentionally variable: colour and texture evolve rather than remaining factory-uniform.

Natural patina

The surface develops from darker raw-steel tones through orange and brown stages toward a more mature weathered finish.

Runoff planning

Early weathering can release oxide runoff. Pale concrete, porous paving, rendered walls and drainage paths should be considered before placement.

Landscape integration

The warm finish works particularly well alongside stone, timber, concrete, aggregate and planting, allowing structures and landscape elements to share one visual language.

Exposure review

Weathering steel is not automatically right for every site. Coastal, salt-laden, persistently damp and unusual exposure conditions need project-specific material review.
