Technical Product Planning — The Americas

Climate, structural, material, compliance and evidence checks for Apollo project-supply products in The Americas.

USA, Canada and Latin American markets cannot share one customs, certification or building-code checklist. Apollo's established website pathways currently prioritise USA and Canada; other American destinations require individual feasibility review.

Buyer pathway

From site conditions to defensible specifications.

01

Site-specific design criteria

Have the appointed local professional establish wind, snow, seismic, exposure and use requirements where applicable.

02

Durability and environmental exposure

Specify heat, UV, rain, humidity, coastal salt, dust, coatings, fasteners, drainage and maintainability for the actual site.

03

Technical submittal evidence

Request selected-model drawings, relevant performance tests, declarations and certifications where applicable, and warranty and operating information.

04

Installation and approvals

Define foundations, fixing, electrical work, permits, independent testing, sign-off and the local installer before order confirmation.

Site and engineering

Confirm conditions before claiming suitability.

Applicable project requirements

USA: state/local code and applicable IBC, ASCE or product-specific standards must be confirmed by project professionals.

Environment and durability

Canada: provincial requirements, applicable National Building Code adoption, snow, wind and climatic design criteria vary.

Documentation and acceptance

Elsewhere in the Americas, confirm national and municipal requirements, seismic/storm exposure, electrical standards and the exact project certification pathway.

Destination compliance

Evidence to request before product approval.

Manufacturer drawings

Request drawings, model identification and site-specific design criteria; make clear which information is indicative rather than project-certified.

Model-specific evidence

Request test reports, declarations, product markings and fire, structural or electrical evidence only where applicable to the selected model; verify exact standard and test scope.

Local review and acceptance

Confirm with the appointed local professionals whether the available evidence satisfies the authority, consultant and procurement requirements before placing an order.

Rates, legal requirements and applicable certifications can change. This page does not provide binding customs, tax, engineering or legal advice; verify with the local importer, regulator and appointed professionals.
