01The folded width is designed around transport efficiency
Current Montara product information uses an approximately 2.2 m folded transport width across the four core model pathways. Model length still varies significantly, so road geometry and vehicle requirements remain important even when width is compact.
02Placement happens before expansion
The folded module is lifted into its correct final orientation on the prepared support or foundation system before the side sections are deployed. Final levels, support points and anchoring interfaces should therefore be ready before the building arrives.
03Expansion needs a controlled structural and sealing sequence
The side wings are opened using the approved deployment method, then locking points, structural connections, trims, seals and drainage details are completed. This is not a step that should be improvised from photographs or another supplier's method.
04Services and commissioning complete the building
Electrical, water, wastewater and other local services are connected after the building is structurally complete and weather-sealed. Circuits, fixtures, drainage, hot water, doors, windows and ventilation should then be checked before occupation.
