ATHREN Timber · Technical Centre
Use the current construction evidence, technical diagrams, installation planning, competition evidence and project tools together. Unresolved factory details remain held rather than filled with assumptions.
Technical resource library
The technical centre separates what the factory documents support today from what still requires model-specific confirmation. This keeps the public floor architecture useful without overstating performance or FIBA scope.

Open resourceApprox. 158 mm suspended pathway with upper and lower 45 × 45 mm battens, intermediate 8 mm resilient pads and lower resilient support.
Open resourceProject-led selector using sport, competition requirement, available build-up, event use and floor interfaces without inventing a performance hierarchy.
Open resourceControlled single- and double-batten technical sheets separating documented construction data from project-confirmed items.
Open resourceOriginal ATHREN layer, slab, expansion and ventilation planning diagrams based on the supplied installation documents.
Open resourceNine-stage planning sequence covering datum, slab, batten set-out, subfloor, moisture layer, playing surface, expansion and ventilation.
Open resourceControlled competition-evidence page for the current fixed-birch Level 2 pathway, without extending approval beyond the supplied certificate.
Open resourceProject checklist for slab, moisture, finished level, services, equipment sockets, line marking, perimeter details and evidence control.
Open resourceStructured intake for sport, competition requirement, area, available floor depth, slab, moisture, services, equipment and programme.
Open resourceEvidence control
This is important for timber sports floors because the current construction documents contain a small number of inconsistent values while the FIBA certificate remains exact-model specific.
Layer order, nominal floor heights, slab reference flatness, subfloor orientation, moisture membrane, expansion and ventilation pathways.
Current certificate supports two fixed birch wooden-floor configurations at FIBA Approved Equipment Level 2 through 31 December 2026.
Exact HKFF model mapping, final board thickness, resilient-pad spacing, adjustment range and performance test schedule remain held until confirmed.
Project workflow
Use the specifier checklist first, then complete the project brief with the court and basketball-equipment information before final system selection.
