Rugby places different demands on a synthetic field from non-contact sports. ATHREN FIELD rugby projects are reviewed around player impact, traction, deformation, use intensity, maintenance, base and shockpad requirements. Where World Rugby Regulation 22 or another tender standard applies, the exact product system and completed field must follow the applicable testing and certification pathway.

Resolve base, drainage, infill, line marking, perimeter and maintenance requirements as part of the complete field.

For Regulation 22 or other certified projects, obtain the exact current product/system evidence and finished-field test plan before procurement.
From sample to supply
Bring the site, the activity and the surface together.
Send the surface area, destination, intended use, timing and a plan or photographs of the existing base or site.
Review the appropriate construction, physical sample, colour, texture and layout.
Agree seams, fixing or adhesive where applicable, edge transitions, local installation and any required performance documentation.
Confirm the manual quotation, supplied items, packing, freight and delivery arrangements.
