Start with the level and operating use
Define whether the court is for competition, 3x3, school sport, community recreation, youth training or mixed use. The required robustness, adjustment pathway, mobility and supporting evidence can change with the operating brief.

Choose the stand family around the site
Freestanding or floor-standing systems can suit facilities needing a self-contained support path, while pre-buried, fixed or wall-mounted options create different structural interfaces and clear-space requirements.
The final model should be selected from the actual site and use rather than assuming one support format works for every court.

Protect run-off and player movement
Backboard position, base footprint, support arms and any counterweight or fixing zone should be coordinated with court lines, player run-off, gates, spectator movement and adjoining courts before the final layout is frozen.

Treat foundations and fixing structure as local project work
Pre-buried, anchored or wall-mounted systems rely on suitable foundations or supporting structure. Apollo can provide current product information for the selected model, while local structural review, foundation design, fixings and installation remain project-specific unless separately arranged.

Coordinate the hoop with the complete court
Surface, markings, lighting, fencing, cameras and other equipment should be checked together so posts, foundations, shadows and camera sightlines do not conflict with the playing area.
Outdoor projects should also declare wind, coastal or other exposure conditions so finishes, maintenance and model suitability can be reviewed against the destination.
