Pizza-oven size is more than the diameter of the cooking floor. The external footprint, total weight, refractory mass, lifting route and surrounding working space all change with the model. Use this guide to compare Apollo's seven current wood-fired oven references before the support or outdoor-kitchen layout is fixed.
Planning guidance — final supplied configuration remains project-specific.
01
Start with cooking-floor size, then check the whole oven
A larger cooking floor creates more room for pizza, roasting trays and fire management, but it also usually means a larger body, greater mass and a heavier support requirement. Do not choose from cooking-floor diameter alone.
Use the complete external dimensions and model weight when checking benches, plinths, access, lifting and how the oven fits the wider outdoor kitchen.
02
65 cm cooking-floor pathway
Royal PO2580 and Royal Mobile PO2480 use the current 65 cm cooking-floor pathway. Royal is the lightest fixed oven in the core range at approximately 140 kg, while Royal Mobile uses a wheeled trolley and is approximately 170 kg.
This size can suit households, smaller patios and projects where footprint and handling matter more than maximum simultaneous cooking capacity.
03
70 cm cooking-floor pathway
Supreme PO2290 uses the current 70 cm cooking-floor pathway, with an overall reference of 125 × 90 × 90 cm and approximately 200 kg.
It sits between the compact 65 cm pathway and the larger 85 cm ovens, providing additional working room without moving into the heaviest refractory formats.
04
85 cm cooking-floor pathway
Royal MAX PO25100, Premier PO86100, Bellissimo 80100 and Firefox PFIREFOX100 use the current 85 cm cooking-floor pathway. Their reference weights range from approximately 290 kg to 500 kg.
The larger floor can suit frequent entertaining, multi-item cooking and hospitality-style use, but support, lifting and installation planning become more demanding as oven mass increases.
05
Weight and access can decide the model before capacity does
A 500 kg oven and a 140 kg oven create very different handling and support requirements even if both fit the available terrace on plan. Review truck or delivery access, mechanical lifting, final approach route and where the oven lands before surrounding construction closes the site in.
Royal Mobile is repositionable only when cold and on a suitable hard, level surface; its trolley format does not make it a lightweight appliance.
06
Choose around the full cooking pattern
Pizza capacity is only one part of the brief. Bread, roasting and retained-heat cooking can benefit from refractory mass and floor area, while smaller domestic projects may value faster handling and a more compact installation envelope.
Reconfirm current dimensions and weight against the final quoted model before support, freight or lifting plans are locked.
