This combination keeps physical media at the centre without isolating the system from modern use. The DP-400 provides accessible vinyl playback; the CD 50n handles discs, network audio and TV integration; and the MODEL 40n gives the package a premium dedicated-stereo centrepiece. Furniture and speaker selection then make the system feel like part of the room rather than a stack of electronics.

Optional upgrades
Move the package up without rebuilding it from scratch.
Upgrades stay within the same room-first logic. The objective is to add capability where it changes the experience, not simply to make the equipment list longer.
Dedicated disc upgrade
Use Denon DCD-1700NE where Super Audio CD and a more dedicated high-mass disc-player pathway are the priority.
Dedicated amplifier upgrade
Use Denon PMA-1700NE for customers who prefer a more traditional high-current integrated amplifier with USB-DAC and MM / MC phono.
Premium floorstanding speaker upgrade
Move to the AVplay M10-BF 5TH where the room can support a large dual-10-inch three-way floorstander and the amplifier is selected accordingly. For a statement/reference room, the AVplay M212-BF dual-12-inch pathway can be considered after room size and amplifier capability are reviewed.
Simplified CD route
Use Denon DCD-900NE where the customer wants a dedicated CD player without the CD 50n network / HDMI feature set.
Larger media furniture
Increase LP capacity, equipment width and closed storage with a wider SKELVAR listening console or sideboard-style pathway.
Room-acoustic upgrade
Add SKELVAR Acoustic Interiors where reflection control or a harder room needs discreet treatment integrated with the furniture palette.
Lighting + coffee layer
Extend the room with Mid-Century / Nordic lighting and an optional coffee console for a complete listening-retreat concept.
