PROJECT PATHProject Brief
01

PROJECT INTENT

Define the facility level before selecting systems.

01Schools · councils · participation

Community / education

School/community court with durable surface, safe post installation and practical lighting.

02Clubs · academies · universities

Club / academy

Club venue with repeat use, team/official areas, storage, spectator and maintenance planning.

03Regional · national competition

Competition

Competition pathway with controlled court envelope, equipment evidence, lighting and event operations.

04International · professional · broadcast

Elite / major venue

Indoor arena / major event pathway with sprung floor, seating, FÍSVOR, media and multi-use changeover.

02

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

Twelve coordination clauses for the complete facility.

01

geometry

Protect the complete netball court, run-off, post positions, team benches, officials, substitution and spectator edges. Multi-court sites need circulation between courts, not just repeated painted rectangles.

02

surface

Outdoor acrylic/modular and indoor resilient/sprung-floor pathways should be selected by environment, competition level, shock/slip performance and maintenance.

03

equipment

Goalposts, rings, nets, sleeves or bases, post padding and storage need exact geometry and safe restraint. Do not substitute basketball equipment imagery or specification.

04

lighting

Coordinate player visibility, vertical ball tracking, glare, outdoor spill light and indoor roof-service conflicts.

05

spectators

Plan sideline viewing, benches, accessible positions, covered viewing and larger arena seating without reducing run-off.

06

structure

Coordinate post sleeves/foundations, indoor floor sockets, roof-mounted dividers, scoreboards, lighting and any spectator covers.

07

environment

Outdoor court drainage, UV, wind and heat need separate planning from indoor temperature, ventilation and glare.

08

accessibility

Accessible arrival, viewing, circulation and inclusive community-use pathways should be built into the court/arena rather than added later.

09

storage

Posts, padding, benches, divider systems and multi-sport equipment need dedicated bays and movement routes, especially in shared halls.

10

technology

FÍSVOR scoreboard/timing, PA, cameras and venue information systems should be positioned around officials and spectator sightlines.

11

evidence

Keep governing-body court/equipment requirements, exact-product evidence and destination building/electrical requirements distinct.

12

lifecycle

Inspect playing surface, lines, post sleeves/bases, rings, nets, padding, lighting, scoring and spectator systems on a defined venue schedule.

03

DRAWING & SUBMITTAL ROADMAP

Draw the interfaces that can create procurement errors.

01

Court + run-off plan

Planning reference first. Exact fabrication, foundation, fixing or selected-system drawings follow after system verification.

02

Post sleeve / base detail

Planning reference first. Exact fabrication, foundation, fixing or selected-system drawings follow after system verification.

03

Multi-court circulation plan

Planning reference first. Exact fabrication, foundation, fixing or selected-system drawings follow after system verification.

04

Indoor hall equipment overlay

Planning reference first. Exact fabrication, foundation, fixing or selected-system drawings follow after system verification.

05

Lighting plan

Planning reference first. Exact fabrication, foundation, fixing or selected-system drawings follow after system verification.

06

Spectator / team / officials layout

Planning reference first. Exact fabrication, foundation, fixing or selected-system drawings follow after system verification.

07

Storage/changeover plan

Planning reference first. Exact fabrication, foundation, fixing or selected-system drawings follow after system verification.

05

EVIDENCE & RELEASE

Keep each evidence type attached to what it actually proves.

01

Governing rule

Defines sport or competition requirements. It does not approve a supplier or local construction detail.

02

Exact product evidence

Testing, approval, certification or manufacturer evidence must match the selected product/configuration.

03

Installed outcome

Where applicable, field/court/facility certification relates to the completed installation rather than the product alone.

04

Project engineering

Foundations, structural supports, wind/seismic, electrical and building interfaces remain project-specific.

05

Commercial release

Quantity, documentation, warranty, freight, installation boundaries, spares and handover are closed before order.

06

MAINTENANCE & HANDOVER

Specify how performance will be maintained.

01

Surface cleaning / recoating

02

Line-marking checks

03

Post and ring inspection

04

Sleeve / cap maintenance

05

Lighting checks

06

Padding / net replacement

07

Drainage checks outdoor

08

Storage inventory

07

TECHNICAL RISK CHECK

Common symptoms that should trigger investigation.

01

Post movement

Check sleeve/base tolerance, restraint and floor/foundation interface.

02

Outdoor ponding

Check base flatness, falls, drainage and surface blockage.

03

Indoor glare

Review fixture position, reflective surfaces and background contrast.

04

Crowded sidelines

Recheck run-off, benches, scorer/official positions and spectator setback.

05

Surface too slippery

Check contamination, finish wear, cleaning chemistry and moisture.

06

Slow hall changeover

Review post handling, storage location and shared equipment conflicts.

SUPPLY BOUNDARY

Apollo is supply-only.

Local design, foundations, civil works, installation, electrical work, statutory approvals, accessibility compliance and professional sign-off remain with the appropriate project parties unless a specific support item is expressly included. Current governing-body rules, exact selected-system data and local requirements take precedence over this planning pack.
