Velaris V7.3 / V8 · buyer's guide

Choose the blind around the opening, exposure and outcome.

This HTML companion makes the core Velaris planning information searchable and easy to share. Final model, fabric, motor, fixing and wind guidance are confirmed against the actual opening before order.

Model selection

Use the published ranges as a first filter, not an ordering formula.

Width, drop, total area, fabric, roller tube, motor, tracks, fixings and site exposure have to be reviewed together. The values below are planning guidance from the current Velaris pathway.

Fabric + controls

Choose the operating outcome before the accessory list.

Mesh openness

Lower openness increases privacy and shade but catches more wind. Higher openness improves outward view and airflow.

Clear PVC + blockout

These are separate pathways where mesh is not the right material. Final weather and operating expectations still need to be defined for the opening.

Manual, motorised + hybrid

Motorisation often suits larger or frequently used blinds. Selected hybrid configurations add hand-crank backup, while manual pathways suit appropriate opening sizes and use patterns.

Smart control + sensors

Selected systems can add Tuya control, wind or rain sensors, double rollers and LED cassette lighting where the project requires them.

Coastal + severe-weather ownership

Exposure changes the maintenance and operating plan.

Velaris is a guided screen system, not a structural wall, security shutter or guaranteed watertight enclosure. Mesh is not waterproof. Coastal installations need more frequent fresh-water rinsing and inspection, tracks should stay clear, and blinds should be retracted before forecast high winds or debris risk unless written project-specific instructions explicitly state otherwise.
