CADARN · Resorts + Hospitality

A modular louvre pathway for repeat guest and hospitality spaces.

CADARN can support resorts and hospitality groups where the requirement is repeatable, residential-scale outdoor rooms rather than a bespoke large-span roof. Guest villas, poolside areas, clubhouses and selected dining or lounge terraces are the natural fit.

Hospitality applications

Repeat the right outdoor room across the property.

The same core product can be standardised while operation, enclosure and exposure pathways are chosen around each zone.

Guest villas

Private terraces and villa outdoor rooms using a controlled repeat configuration.

Poolside

Shade and weather-control zones beside pools where drainage and corrosion exposure are planned correctly.

Restaurant terraces

Smaller dining and lounge areas that remain within the CADARN modular size envelope.

Clubhouse & amenity

Clubhouses, recreation areas and shared resident / guest facilities with repeatable outdoor-cover needs.

Controlled specification

One agreed product schedule can define sizes, colours, motorisation and approved accessory choices across the property.

Local project integration

Local team retains structural interfaces, foundations, drainage, electrical work, approvals and installation.

Climate + operation

Hospitality use increases the importance of exposure and maintenance.

01

Rain & drainage

Confirm roof drainage, outlet route and surrounding falls before the configuration is released.

02

Coastal exposure

Review finish, fixing grade, freshwater cleaning and maintenance around actual salt exposure.

03

Heat & UV

For GCC and hot-climate projects, consider orientation, controls, electrical equipment exposure, cleaning and maintenance access.

04

Wind criteria

No blanket cyclone or high-wind claim is implied; local project criteria must be checked against the selected configuration.

05

Guest operation

Select manual or motorised control based on staff operation, guest use and maintenance requirements.

CADARN or ARKEN?

Keep the product boundary clear.

This prevents the kitset from being oversold into applications it was never intended to solve.

Use CADARN

Modular + repeatable.

  • Guest-villa terraces
  • Poolside outdoor rooms
  • Smaller restaurant / lounge zones
  • Repeat clubhouse or residential-scale amenity areas
  • Projects within 6 × 4 m / 24 m² per CADARN system

Review ARKEN

Bespoke + architectural.

  • Large-span restaurant terraces
  • Major multi-bay resort structures
  • Bespoke geometry or complex architectural integration
  • Projects requiring a formal manufacturer drawing/submittal pathway
  • Layouts beyond the CADARN kitset envelope

FAQ

Resort + hospitality questions.

Where does CADARN fit in a resort?

CADARN is best suited to modular residential-scale or small hospitality outdoor rooms such as guest villas, poolside cabanas, clubhouse terraces and selected restaurant or lounge areas that fit within the 6 × 4 m / 24 m² envelope.

Is CADARN suitable for a large resort restaurant terrace?

Not automatically. Large-span, multi-bay or bespoke architectural areas should move to ARKEN or another project-manufactured roof pathway rather than stretching CADARN beyond its modular role.

Can CADARN be used in coastal resorts?

Potentially. Coastal exposure, finish specification, fasteners, freshwater cleaning, maintenance frequency and local wind criteria need to be reviewed for the actual destination.

Will Apollo provide resort CAD or shop drawings for CADARN?

No. CADARN remains a kitset product. Project-specific CAD, BIM, shop drawings, foundations and local engineering remain with the appointed resort project team. Where formal manufacturer drawing deliverables are required, a more architectural pathway should be reviewed.
