Apollo NZ GlobalStart Project Brief
CENYRAAutomated Retail & Self-Service Systems

Technical Centre · Automated Retail & Self-Service

Design the unattended service around the site, users and operator.

The correct machine is only one part of a self-service project. Utilities, temperature, payment/access, telemetry, security, hygiene, replenishment, service access and operator responsibilities determine whether the system works after installation.

Technical topics

Eight interfaces control most CENYRA projects.

Exact specifications remain tied to the selected machine/configuration and destination evidence. This centre defines what should be asked, not what should be assumed.

01

Power & site services

Confirm voltage/frequency, connected load, isolation, plugs/hardwiring, water, drainage, ventilation and clear service zones for the exact machine.

02

Temperature control

Ambient, chilled, frozen and heated systems require different refrigeration/heating architecture, recovery performance and operating-temperature limits.

03

Payment & access

Contactless, cash, RFID, app/QR and credential access change the hardware, operator workflow, merchant relationship and backend requirements.

04

Telemetry & integration

Remote status, stock monitoring, API/MDB/SDK, data ownership, SIM/network and backend dependencies should be defined before system release.

05

Security & public use

Door/locker strength, anti-vandal design, anchoring, surveillance context, public access and safe cash/product handling depend on the environment and use case.

06

Water / hygiene interfaces

Water, ice, wash and hygiene systems need appropriate potable-water/product-contact evidence, drainage, cleaning and operator routines for the destination.

07

Serviceability

Access panels, replaceable modules, consumables, critical spares, remote diagnostics and local technician capability determine whether a system is practical long-term.

08

Operator logistics

Stocking route, refill frequency, waste/recycling, cold-chain handling, secure storage and replenishment access belong in the project brief.

Eight CENYRA families

Different services create different technical requirements.

Family selection is the first routing decision; exact machine approval comes after destination, operator and evidence review.

CENYRA RETAIL

Automated Retail

Ambient, refrigerated and frozen unattended retail systems for packaged food, drinks, fresh products and general merchandise.

CENYRA LOCK

Smart Lockers

Parcel, click-and-collect, refrigerated, rental, key, asset and equipment locker systems for controlled self-service access.

CENYRA PUBLIC

Public Self-Service

Public-access dispensing and service systems for hygiene, community facilities, civic environments and institutional projects.

CENYRA WASH

Wash Systems

Commercial self-service laundry, detergent dispensing, pet-wash and selected unattended wash systems for hospitality, residential and public applications.

CENYRA RESOURCE

Water, Ice & Refill

Project-configured water dispensing, ice vending, refill and resource-access systems for hospitality, marine, remote and public environments.

CENYRA INDUSTRIAL

Industrial Supply

PPE, tools, consumables and controlled asset-dispensing systems for factories, construction, utilities, maintenance and logistics.

CENYRA RECYCLE

Recycling & Return

Reverse-vending and automated collection systems for eligible bottle, can and recycling programmes, subject to local scheme and integration requirements.

CENYRA VENUE

Venue & Recreation

Self-service equipment pathways for sport, aquatic centres, marinas, resorts, campuses and recreation facilities.

Qualification before release

Evidence should follow the exact machine and destination.

A marketplace badge or generic declaration is not treated as proof for every configuration or country.

01

Exact machine, configuration and electrical supply identified

Confirm and retain current supporting documentation before exact-machine release.

02

Destination compliance evidence reviewed for the proposed market

Confirm and retain current supporting documentation before exact-machine release.

03

Outdoor, IP, temperature, humidity and corrosion exposure checked where relevant

Confirm and retain current supporting documentation before exact-machine release.

04

Payment, access-control, MDB / SDK / API and backend dependencies confirmed

Confirm and retain current supporting documentation before exact-machine release.

05

Food, water, hygiene or product-contact requirements reviewed where applicable

Confirm and retain current supporting documentation before exact-machine release.

06

Warranty, service access, spare-parts schedule and replaceable components confirmed

Confirm and retain current supporting documentation before exact-machine release.

07

OEM branding, manuals, labels and technical documentation confirmed

Confirm and retain current supporting documentation before exact-machine release.

08

Operator stocking, cleaning, local servicing and statutory responsibilities clearly separated from Apollo supply

Confirm and retain current supporting documentation before exact-machine release.

Lifecycle

Plan the service route before the machine arrives.

Cleaning + hygiene

Who cleans what, with which products, at what interval, and how food/water-contact areas are handled.

Stock / refill

Replenishment access, stock rotation, cold chain where applicable, waste and returned product.

Remote monitoring

Who receives faults, stock alerts, payment/network alarms and temperature warnings.

Local service

Technician access, replaceable modules, diagnostic information and escalation route.

Critical spares

Payment devices, controllers, locks, sensors, refrigeration components and wear items selected by exact machine.

Operator responsibility

The purchaser/operator remains responsible for day-to-day operation unless a separate operating service is explicitly contracted.

Choose the pathway

Use the System Selector before asking for an exact machine.
