ORELAN Technical Centre

Current reference data, without pretending the file is finished.

ORELAN is Apollo NZ Global's premium architectural louvre platform. This technical centre records the manufacturing-platform data we can use now and keeps disputed or incomplete claims out of project promises until the supporting documents arrive. Upstream production and procurement records remain inside Apollo's controlled project layer.

ORELAN · technical diagrams

Understand the system before choosing the configuration.

These diagrams explain system logic rather than represent a final shop drawing. Dimensions, sections, drainage outlets, motors, fixings and enclosure interfaces are confirmed against the selected project platform.

01

System anatomy

Louvres, perimeter beam, posts, drive zone, gutter and drainage work as one coordinated structure.

Adjustable louvre fieldPerimeter beam + gutterStructural postsInternal water route
02

Rotate + retract

The flagship open-sky pathway changes both blade angle and roof coverage.

CLOSEDROTATEDRETRACTED
Closed shelterControlled sun + airflowSubstantially open sky
03

Rainwater route

Closed louvres direct roof water to the perimeter system, then down nominated drainage posts.

Configuration logic

Freestanding, attached, inset and linked multi-bay layouts solve different structural interfaces.

System selection matrix

Choose the engineering pathway from the project requirement.

ORELAN pathwayPremium rotating

Variable project platform
Use when the roof needs controlled shade, ventilation and closed-roof rain management without full roof retraction.

ORELAN pathwayReduced-column rotating

4 × 6 m single · 4 × 10 m dual / 6 posts
Use when wider views and fewer posts are a priority. Current pathways include manual, motorised and smartphone operation.

ORELAN pathwayHeavy-duty rain pathway

4.5 × 7 m / 4 posts · 9 × 6.5 m / 6 posts
Use when larger bays and stronger rain-management geometry are key project drivers.

ORELAN pathwayRetractable open-sky

4 × 6 m / 4-post published reference
Use when blade rotation alone is not enough and the project needs a substantially open roof condition.

ORELAN pathwayGlass-enclosed

Panels up to W1000 × H2600 mm
Use when greater side-weather separation is required while retaining daylight and views.

Evidence still required

Items Apollo is deliberately not over-claiming.

Pending verificationWind performance

Obtain model-specific pressure / structural test reports and test conditions before publishing a performance promise.

Pending verificationSnow performance

Obtain model-specific loading reports in engineering units rather than relying on marketing depth figures alone.

Pending verificationP6 alloy / temper

Current source references conflict between T5 and T6; the final controlled technical sheet must resolve the active production specification.

Pending verificationPergo-LUX maximum bay

Current manufacturer pages publish conflicting single-bay figures; final engineering table must resolve the active platform limit.

Pending verificationDrainage capacity

Obtain litres/minute or rainfall-intensity capacity for P8 / relevant heavy-rain pathways.

Pending verificationCoastal specification

Confirm coating system, pretreatment, film thickness, warranty and maintenance requirements by exposure category.

Pending verificationMotors + controls

Confirm manufacturer, IP rating, voltage/frequency, app ecosystem and integration protocols for every active ORELAN pathway.

Pending verificationCertificates

Collect the actual model/component certificates and standards behind CE / SGS / UL / KC / TÜV claims before using them as compliance evidence.
