Both formats can create useful shelter. The right choice depends on how much protected living area the trip actually uses and how quickly the camp needs to deploy and pack away.

Wraparound coverage can protect both side and rear working areas, which can be valuable for longer stays. The larger shelter can also introduce more deployment, support and wind-management considerations.
Doors, tailgates, canopy openings and rooftop-tent access should remain usable in the deployed configuration. Final geometry is checked against the selected VÆRDR system and vehicle.
