Golf Turf Systems

Artificial golf surfaces for practice and recreation.

Project-configured artificial golf turf for putting, short-game practice, training environments, resorts and recreation projects. Surface selection is based on intended ball response, contouring, base preparation, drainage, climate, presentation and maintenance.

Three project pathways

Choose the golf use before the surface build-up.

Putting, practice and recreation surfaces have different priorities. The final system should be matched to the intended player experience and site conditions.

01

Golf Putting

Purpose-selected putting surfaces for practice, hospitality and recreation greens.

02

Golf Training

Golf training and academy pathway for repeat practice and defined performance goals.

03

Golf Recreation

Leisure and resort pathway where appearance, usability and maintenance simplicity are key.

Selection logic

What determines the right golf turf?

Golf turf is not selected by pile height alone. Ball roll, site contouring and the prepared base have a major influence on the finished experience.

Intended use

Putting, training, short-game practice, resort or recreation.

Ball response

Desired roll, speed and consistency.

Contours

Finished slopes, breaks, transitions and feature shaping.

Base construction

Prepared base, stability and surface tolerances.

Drainage

Water movement through and around the finished area.

Climate

Heat, UV, rainfall, frost and coastal exposure.

Maintenance model

Cleaning, brushing and presentation expectations.

Complete surface system

The finished green depends on the base and contouring.

Artificial golf surfaces are coordinated with the prepared and shaped base, drainage, edge details, cups or target interfaces and surrounding landscape transitions. The turf is one component of the finished playing surface.

Supply model

LUTHVAR is supplied on a wholesale and project basis. Civil works, drainage construction, installation, testing and local compliance remain project-specific and are confirmed in the project scope.

Project brief

What we need to review a golf turf project.

A concept plan, approximate dimensions and intended player use are enough to begin the project review.

Technical evidence

Golf performance is confirmed against the selected system.

Where a consultant, operator or project specification defines measurable performance requirements, the exact proposed golf turf construction and available test information are reviewed before any project-specific claim is made.

Golf project brief

Send the project conditions before locking the turf.

We can then identify the appropriate LUTHVAR golf pathway and confirm the exact technical configuration at quotation stage.
