Define who the golf programme serves
Start with player groups, stage of play, coaching use and facility model before selecting equipment.

□ How many players use the equipment at one time?
□ Is equipment shared, issued or individually assigned?
Separate playing equipment from practice infrastructure
Define whether the brief needs clubs and sets, practice nets, putting systems, training aids, indoor technology or a mixed package.
□ Which product categories are actually required?
□ Is the priority playing, coaching, practice or facility operation?
□ Which items need to work together as one programme?
Match clubs and sets to the player pathway
Use player size, handedness, stage of play and intended performance level to narrow equipment rather than treating one set as universal.

Plan practice nets and hitting areas safely
Coordinate hitting positions, containment, clearance, circulation and coach visibility before ordering the practice equipment.

Build putting and short-game practice around repetition
Plan putting surfaces and training tools around session flow, target variety, storage and the number of simultaneous users.

Plan indoor golf technology as a room system
Treat screen position, hitting area, sensor or simulator requirements, lighting, power, network and service access as one environment.
□ What room dimensions and ceiling height are available?
□ What technology pathway is being considered?
□ Where do power, network and maintenance access need to sit?
Coordinate trolleys, mobility and equipment handling
Plan storage, charging where applicable, circulation and daily handling before adding transport or mobility equipment to the programme.
□ How many units need storage at once?
□ Is charging or secure storage required?
□ Can equipment move through the facility without blocking player circulation?
Plan school and academy equipment for shared use
Match quantities, durability and storage to the timetable, coaching model and turnover between groups.
□ How many players share each session?
□ Who issues, checks and returns equipment?
□ What storage system keeps sets and components organised?
Plan club practice and member-development spaces
Coordinate coaching, member practice, indoor use and equipment storage around how the club actually operates.
□ Which programmes happen weekly?
□ What existing rooms or outdoor areas can be reused?
□ What upgrades can be staged without disrupting current operations?
Include maintenance, storage and support
Define inspection, cleaning, charging, replacement parts and software or technology support before the equipment is commissioned.
□ Who is responsible for daily equipment checks?
□ Where are spare parts and consumables stored?
□ What ongoing software, network or support expectations apply?
Keep the product brief evidence-based
Confirm exact models, specifications, handedness, quantities and current availability before making performance or suitability claims.
