RIDEspan Active Recreation

RIDEspan PARK · COMPLETE ACTIVE RECREATION

Build the whole active-recreation destination, not just the obstacles.

RIDEspan PARK coordinates PUMP, FLOW, STREET and SKILLS with circulation, lighting, shade, seating, bike parking, public realm and amenities to create complete recreation projects for councils, schools, developers and destination sites.

Project-led pathway · exact system evidence confirmed by scope
Indicative RIDEspan PARK complete active-recreation project combining modular street and flow systems

Initial family structure

Organised around project use, not supplier SKU codes.

The range names below create a clear public architecture while exact models, dimensions and construction remain controlled in the technical layer.

01

PARK START

Small-footprint introductory recreation spaces.

02

PARK STREET

Street-skating focused parks using banks, ledges, boxes, rails and transitions.

03

PARK FLOW

Flow-oriented layouts using rollers, transitions and linked riding elements.

04

PARK MIX

Multi-discipline layouts combining FLOW and STREET.

05

PARK PROGRESSION

Beginner-to-advanced projects planned around progressive challenge.

06

PARK CUSTOM

Site-specific recreation destinations combining the appropriate RIDEspan systems.

Project applications

Built for project environments.

PARK planning centre

Scale the destination around the community, not a fixed equipment bundle.

These are planning levels rather than certified kits. The selected RIDEspan systems and exact equipment remain project-specific.

01

School / Local

Compact recreation zones, school grounds and neighbourhood spaces.

Planning core

Usually one dominant riding pathway with clear supervision, seating and future expansion protected.

FLOW or STREET · optional PUMP connection
02

Community

Council parks, community reserves and larger school or youth recreation projects.

Planning core

Two or more activity zones with circulation, spectators, shade, bike parking and lighting considered together.

FLOW + STREET · PUMP or SKILLS where the brief supports it
03

District

Major community facilities, sports precincts and larger development recreation spaces.

Planning core

Multiple progression levels, stronger public-realm integration and clear separation between riding, spectators and service access.

PUMP + FLOW + STREET + selected SKILLS
04

Destination

Regional recreation, resort, tourism and large masterplanned active-sport projects.

Planning core

A complete site strategy with several activity systems, amenities, events, operations and future growth planned from the outset.

Custom PARK mix across all suitable RIDEspan pathways

Site planning layers

Plan what happens between the modules.

A successful recreation park is more than equipment placement. Flow, supervision, waiting, access, amenities and future growth need to be resolved with the riding systems.

01

Activity core

Choose PUMP, FLOW, STREET and/or SKILLS around the actual rider groups and desired experience.

02

Rider circulation

Resolve direction of travel, entry/exit points, waiting areas, cross-flows and transitions between activity zones.

03

Progression

Separate introductory, intermediate and more challenging experiences so the site has a clear learning pathway.

04

Spectators & supervision

Plan parent, teacher, coach and spectator positions without placing stationary users inside riding flow.

05

Public realm

Coordinate shade, seating, hydration, bike parking, bins, paths and landscape interfaces around the riding zones.

06

Lighting & services

Allow for lighting, power, drainage, maintenance access and any future amenities before the equipment layout is frozen.

07

Expansion zone

Protect space and connections for future modules or an additional RIDEspan pathway where staged investment is expected.

08

Handover & lifecycle

Define inspection, maintenance, replacement parts, manuals and local responsibilities before completion.

Current development position

What we can state now.

PARK is the project wrapper for complete active-recreation destinations rather than a single equipment family.

The activity mix can be selected around site area, user groups, skill range, supervision and future expansion.

RIDEspan can connect with wider LUTHVAR sports infrastructure and CIVARO public-realm systems where appropriate.

Final technical evidence remains attached to each selected RIDEspan system and the local project interfaces.
